King Erik XIV's Key of the Realm

The Key of the Realm is one King Erik XIV's four regalia - the King's Crown, the Orb and the Sceptre.

The key symbolises the king's power to shut out evil, keep in good and admit those in distress.

The regalia, the baptismal font and the coronation cloak can be seen in the Treasury at the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
