Konstfack at the Chinese Pavilion
In summer 2021, the Chinese Pavilion will be hosting an exhibition by Konstfack – University of Arts, Crafts and Design entitled Going elsewhere – Material interpretations of the Chinese Pavilion. The students’ work is inspired by the historical collections at the Drottningholm pleasure palace.
For almost a year, the Royal Court of Sweden has partnered with Research LAB Craft in a standalone course for craftspeople and artists at Konstfack. The course gives the students the opportunity to use historical environments as a source of inspiration in their own work.
The results will form an exhibition in summer 2021 at the Chinese Pavilion where the students’ work will be displayed.
Going elsewhere – Material interpretations of the Chinese Pavilion opens 28 June.
The exhibition will be on display from 28 June to 22 August 2021
