Christmas morning service in the Riddarholmen Church
Welcome to a special Christmas morning service in a special church. Stockholm Scout District will be hosting one of few services to be held in the mediaeval abbey, in keeping with a tradition dating back to 1937.
The Riddarholmen Church is the final resting place of the Swedish kings, and is Stockholm's only preserved mediaeval abbey.
The Christmas morning service will be arranged by Stockholm Scout District and this year's Vässarö confirmation candidates. The public are welcome to attend the service.
The church will be lit exclusively by candles. Since the church does not have heating, we recommend wearing warm clothing and bringing a seat pad.
