Christmas morning service in the Riddarholmen Church

Welcome to a special Christmas morning service in a special church. Stockholm Scout District will be hosting one of few services to be held in the mediaeval abbey.

The Christmas morning service will be arranged by Stockholm Scout District, a tradition dating back to 1937.

be in good time!

The yearly Christmas service is a popular event. The church allows 450 people, but can be full at this event. Free entrance.

We recommend wearing warm clothing and bringing a seat pad. The church does not have heating, and will be lit by candles.

Note! The Church´s floor of tombstones is very fragile. Canes with metal tips or shoes with spikes must not be used

The Riddarholmen Church is the final resting place of the Swedish kings, and is Stockholm's only preserved mediaeval abbey.
