You can walk around Gripsholm Castle yourself, but taking a guided tour can make your visit extra special.

Tours are for individuals, and cost SEK 30 in addition to the standard entry price. The guided tour ticket is available at the ticket office (no pre-booking). The tour is free for children under the age of 18. Limited spaces available. A guided tour takes around 45 minutes.

Castle tour

Take a tour through the Vasa castle’s winding corridors, historic chambers and rooms. The museum experts will guide you through the castle’s history from the 16th to the 19th centuries and point out some highlights – from the Vasa section to Gustav III’s theatre and paintings from the Swedish National Portait Gallery.
